I hope everyone is doing well. This past month has been a crazy month for me. My friend from high school passed away in a car accident a few weeks ago. That was tough to deal with. We were not super close, but we still grew up together and I went to her Halloween party the one year. She was always such a nice person. It killed me to see my old friends from high school so broken down as well. Sure we lost contact but seeing them like that was very tough. I still try to check in on them and see how they are more recently just so they realize they can talk to me about whatever is bothering them. Sometimes it still doesn't feel real. I'm not sure if I will ever get over it.
Then my grandma fell and broke her hip as well. My grandma is recovering though. Just so much stuff has been going on in my family as well. My aunt is sick too with gallbladder cancer so that is also hard to deal with. Sickness is a tough thing to deal with. No one really realizes how hard it is until it is in your family. Sure some people in your friends family get sick but it never hits you until its in your family. Seeing the person sick is the worst part. Watching my aunt's health decline is crazy! I always think back to my graduation party in 2017 she was fine! You would never think a year later all this would have happened.
My other grandma is also sick with lung cancer as well. The chemo got rid of the cancer in her lungs. The radiation messed her up more she has a cough still. The radiation burned some of her lungs so gotta love that! Its always something!!!!!!!!!!! :( I am hoping the cancer hasn't moved elsewhere in her body. Still waiting for the test results. There is just wayyy too much stuff going on in my family lately and it is overwhelming.
At my graduation party I made sure to take photos with every guest! I sent them out in the thank you cards as well. Now looking back I am so happy that I did that because once someone passes away all you have is pictures. I guess that is why I have always been drawn to photography. You preserve every moment and can print it out or keep it on your phone, computer.
I haven't really gotten personal on my blog. Just wanted to let the world know photographers have problems too!
